Visiting the website
The website runs on Cloudflare Workers, with a D1 database and R2 media storage. Requests may be processed by distributed infrastructure. Technical data, including IP address, request time, browser and requested address, may be processed to display pages, maintain security and investigate incidents.
Email contact
“Send my message” submits the information entered to our Cloudflare Workers server, which checks the request and sends it to info@dentiste-gc.ch using Cloudflare Email Sending. The practice receives it through Proton Mail. The website does not store a copy in its database. The email address entered allows the practice to reply. If “Prepare my email” is displayed, your email application opens and you decide whether to send the message. Cloudflare Turnstile protects direct sending against abuse and processes technical browser and connection data. Do not send medical records, X-rays, photographs or detailed health information through this form. For emergencies or clinical questions, use the contact details and instructions on the Emergency page. The selected retention rule for administrative enquiries is 30 days. The practice manages this in its mailbox; the website does not automatically delete messages. This rule does not describe the retention of medical records.
Appointments and analytics
The website links to OneDoc. No OneDoc widget is loaded in these pages. Information supplied on OneDoc is processed by that service under its own policy. The website does not copy appointment data into its public database. No Plausible or Microsoft Clarity analytics script is currently loaded.
Maps and Instagram
Google Maps loads only after you choose “Show Google Maps”. Google then receives technical data, including your IP address, browser information and map interactions. If you choose “Continue without Google”, the map loads OpenStreetMap tiles. The tile provider receives technical requests, including your IP address and requested tiles. Before a choice, the panel displays the practice’s address without loading an external map. A directions link is also available. The Instagram post loads only when you click “Show the post”. Displaying it sends technical requests to Instagram/Meta, which may apply its own cookies and processing rules. You can also use the external link to open Instagram directly.
Map preference and providers
Your map choice is stored in your browser’s local storage for 183 days. You can change it using “Choose a map” or the preference management link. It is not used for advertising. Deleting the stored preference displays the choice again. Depending on your use, providers include Cloudflare, Proton Mail, OneDoc, Google, OpenStreetMap and Instagram/Meta. Their infrastructure may process data outside Switzerland; their policies describe processing and applicable safeguards. The website does not guarantee that all requests remain in Switzerland.
Security and your rights
The practice limits access to its tools and mailbox to authorised people. No Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Within the limits of applicable law, you may request information about processing, access, correction or erasure where the conditions are met, and withdraw consent for the future.
